Visit the Archeological Site of Ancient
Akrotiri.
This site uncovered in 1967 has paved streets lined
with houses with rooms decorated with wall paintings considered to be
the most magnificent in Greece. It is presumed the ancient city was evacuated
before the 1625 eruption of the islands volcano.

Visit the town of Pyrgos.
Pyrgos town, once a Venetian fortress is still
surrounded by the medieval walls. There is also a museum here in one
of the many blue domed churches. A short walk from Pyrgos is the
Profitis Elias Monastery, built in 1711 which hosts a festival once a
year in July.

Take a trip to the Classical Ancient City of Thira
Ancient Thira is the classical city of Santorini,

Black Sand Beaches can be found along the east coast of
